Last night I witnessed one remarkable sunset here in the PNW. My friend and I decided to go out and visit a boardwalk park for the perfect shot but once we got there we became frustrated with how many people were out on the dock. Understandably so, since evenings have been so beautiful and warm this summer... people are out 'till dark. We agreed to leave our first location and then decided on Picnic Point Park... one I've never been to but my friend was familiar with. We got there just in time. The sun was gorgeous, pink and orange flooding everything the light touched. I was able to get low enough to compose my shot with rocks in the foreground and even capture rippling water while a few men decided to fly fish. It was a great end to a typical summer day.
